We encourage you to read this manuscript:

Building foundational knowledge competencies in professional geropsychology: CoPGTP Recommendations

It includes results and recommendations from a workgroup’s survey of professional geropsychologists regarding which topics should be prioritized in a continuing education (CE) course at the exposure level of training in Professional Geropsychology for an audience of generalist psychologists with little or no prior education or training related to adult development and aging who want to expand their professional work to include older adults. We also hope it will be used by geropsychologists who seek to create training curricula. Many thanks to Dr. Greg Hinrichsen for all his work chairing this initiative as well as the other members of the workgroup.
